Hydrology is not just quenching thirst; there is a personalized hydration experience that allows customers to tailor their water to their specific needs with unique remineralization products.
The Journey Your Water Takes At Hydrology
- From Source Water (City Water)
Step 1: AG Filter- Removes large particles down to approximately 20 microns.
Step 2: Maxi-Carb Carbon Filter- Removes volatile organic compounds from source water which includes chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, odors, taste and many other contaminants.
Step 3: 5 Micron Filter- This pleated cartridge filter is designed to further remove particles down to 5 microns.
Step 4: Reverse Osmosis (RO) High Pressure Pump- Sends water at a high PSI towards the RO Membranes.
Step 5: RO Membranes- Purifies the water and takes out 99%+ of all contaminants. The membranes separate the RO water from the waste water.
Step 6: RO Water Storage Tanks- This is where the water is held before go to in a couple of directions to continue the filtering process.
Step 7: Re-Pressurization Tank and Pump- These two work together to keep the lines pressurized to move water around 24/7 and also keep the faucets pressurized.
Step 8: Post Carbon Filter- Polishes the water to remove any further contaminants.
Step 9: Ultraviolet Disinfection- Disinfects water by damaging the DNA of microorganisms, such as bacteria, cysts, coliform, salmonella, E. coli and more.
Step 10: Ozone Generator (Ozonated)- Kills bacteria, viruses, algae, and fungi. Eliminates bad tastes, smells.
Step 11: Filling Stations
Step 12: Recirculation- Product Water goes back to the Water Tanks and repeats Steps 6-10 on a 24 hour loop.
